Aero Club of Southern Tasmania provides a great place to gather, share, and enjoy the thrill of flying. We meet each Sunday with an open bar from 4pm for members and visitors. If you care as much as we do and want to show your support, come and join us! We provide hire of our aircraft and regular flying events.

The Sunday Bar is back! Starting Sunday 3rd December, 2023 and after a few months break, the bar will be open the 1st Sunday of every month. A great selection of drinks will be available, plus bar snacks will be provided. Click the image above for more details!

About Us
ACST
The Aero Club of Southern Tasmania was formed as a company limited by guarantee on the first of July 1947 and mostly flew Tigers, Austers and Chipmunks.
In January 1978 the club reached a total of 100,000 flying hours.
Whilst the club no longer provides flying training it offers a great environment for members to both socialise and enjoy a local flight, or as many members do, a flight anywhere throughout Australia.
As a place for members, both old and new, we come together in a comfortable and considerate environment and share the passion and excitement that only flying offers.
