The controls must be locked, the brake must be on, and it is recommended that you place wheel chocks on both main wheels. In winds of greater than 15 knots you must chock the main wheels before leaving the aircraft unattended. If leaving a tail-dragger aircraft outside, it must be chocked on BOTH main wheels at all times. |
| • | NOTE:
Do not leave an aircraft in close proximity to other aircraft such that if it is moved or swung by the wind (or a person) that it will contact the other aircraft.
Try not to leave aircraft in a position where it will block access to others taxiing in or out of the apron. |
| • | If leaving an aircraft adjacent to the helicopter operations area, you must tie it down if there are to be any helicopter operations. |
