Since the last issue in June I've been away overseas. Whilst away I visited Duxford to attend the "Flying Legends" air show and did a little bit of flying in Portugal and France. Angus MacNeil was also at the Flying Legends air show and we had a great day there.
If you are ever over in the UK the museum at Duxford and if possible one of the air shows are not to be missed items. Here are a few pictures:

The "Brits", Hawker Hinds, Nimrod, Sea Furies.
The "Yanks". Mustangs, Corsairs, Skyraiders.
The mustang at the left "Big Beautiful Doll" was destroyed at the end of the day after a mid air encounter with a Douglas Skyraider. The pilot parachuted out in the nick of time.
